Big Day

Well, Colin is still hanging in there. He's not quite taking full bottles yet, though they have already gone ad lib on his feedings (basically if he wants more than his previously measured amount, they'll give it to him). He took one bottle that was 30 cc's, or one full ounce! Big for our little one.
He also had another eye exam yesterday. No ROP, but his retina is still not fully vascularized. His next exam is scheduled in 2 weeks.
Colin had his weekly labs done early this morning, and some of the results are back already. His liver enzymes are still elevated (indicating continued jaundice) and thus the doctors will likely determine today whether or not to start him on medication for that (Actigall). If he does start on Actigall, he'll likely be on it for several weeks to months.
Of course, today is the big day for Colin and us as well as he has his head ultrasound scheduled. We will breathe a huge sigh of relief if all is clear. If not, and our worst fears are realized, it will change everything for us - and Colin. We can use a little extra prayer today. I'm practically holding my breath...
